t42's last dance: live dvd & cd (2007)

+ T42 +

Founded in 1990, T42 became one of Luxembourg’s biggest music exports. Their success was based on massive touring as well as a whole range of top spots in the national charts: 'Marie-Anne', 'prayers for love', 'she dances until she breaks down', 'Kitty', 'hello, hello, hello, goodbye & here we are again', 'great song of indifference', 'oceans', 'the storm', 'happy in my tree house', 'someone by my side' or 'brand new toy'.
Whoever wants to describe T42, will crash into phrases like 'fun', 'big creative potential' and 'perseverance'. They always kept their love for the music intact and shared their emotions with their audience. Most of their albums either reached gold or platinum status and their extended tours kept them hungry until the late 90ies. In 2000, their 10th anniversary was celebrated with a best of album. 2002 saw the release of their best album “oopsy-daisy”. "T42 (live) - crew deluxe", released in October 2003, captured perfectly the atmosphere of the T42 shows. In May 2005, after an unsuccessful attempt to write a new album, T42 split up after an unforgettable farewell concert in the town where they started over 15 years ago... The concert was filmed and recorded for a dvd due in 2006. Their final "from schoolband to nowhere - least worst of" album reached 5 times platinum and became Luxembourg's most sold album so far...
T42 opened for such bands as: Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Alanis Morissette, Ezio, Bap, Krezip, Die Happy, Fettes Brot, Faudel, Mike & the Mechanics, Fish, Jethro Tull, Reamonn, Alphaville, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Die Prinzen, Wir sind Helden, Bananafishbones, Maria Solheim, Fool's Garden, Jeff Healey, Rory Gallagher, The Seer, Wir sind Helden, Sub7, les Innocents, Louis Bertignac (Ex-Téléphone), Manu Dibango, Soulsister, Wolf Maahn, Picture House...
